Ms. Solis is a Shareholder and a member of the Firm’s Public Law Section.  Her practice focuses primarily on municipal and public law work and defense of governmental entities in litigation matters. In her current position, she serves as general counsel/city attorney representing cities, special districts and other local governmental entities across the State of Texas. She advises our governmental clients in a variety of subject matter areas including open meetings and open records issues, ethics/conflicts issues, zoning and land use regulation, economic development, home-rule charters, as well as on procurement, employment, contract, and other general public law issues. Ms. Solis also handles litigation and employment law issues for government entities, municipalities and water districts. Ms. Solis is also the City Attorney for the City of Dilley and Poteet, and is Special Legal Counsel for the City of Robstown. Ms. Solis is also part of our public law litigation team and is experienced in handling litigation cases and has strong trial experience.

Ms. Solis previously served as the City Attorney for the City of Boerne, an Assistant District Attorney, 81st Judicial District Attorney’s Office and as Assistant County Attorney in the Atascosa County Attorney’s Office.
