Lea A. Ream maintains a civil litigation practice centered on commercial and employment matters. Ms. Ream’s practice also includes the representation of public clients such as municipalities and their utilities, as well as electric cooperatives.

Ms. Ream has represented clients in a variety of commercial areas including: contracts, anti-trust matters, misrepresentation claims and fiduciary claims in the financial and corporate context. She has successfully assisted clients in collecting debts in high-end commercial matters as well as for banking clients.

In her employment practice, Ms. Ream represents clients with day-to-day employment decisions with a focus on avoiding suits and claims to representing clients before administrative agencies and before the Texas and United States courts. She represents clients in matters involving breach of contract; covenants not to compete; worker’s compensation retaliation; and charges of discrimination, harassment and retaliation relating to sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion and disability.

Ms. Ream provides corporate services and handles litigation matters for clients involved in energy projects.
